Lyn completed her Foundation Course in Art at Kingston Polytechnic in 1983. She gained her Honours Degree in Fine Art (Painting) at Wimbledon School of Art. She has exhibited her work at various venues in and around London and had her first solo exhibition in 1986.
Lyn moved to Brighton in October 2006 and is a member of the Kemptown Arts Association and Teddington Artists. She and her husband, a photographer, have taken part in the Art Open Houses for several years since they moved to Brighton.
Lyn spent most of her childhood in France and then lived for many years in Teddington. Lyn finds inspiration in her immediate environment as well as places she visits in England and abroad. She brings new life to places, flowers and objects with bold colour, strong rhythm of line and plenty of joie de vivre.
